Senior DSP Embedded Software Engineer

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Perform as a senior member of a hardware team developing the next generation of both commercial and military wireless networking: an advanced mobile ad hoc wireless network built upon innovative spectrum sharing methodologies capable of transparently underlying a wide variety of wireless technologies including 802.11 and 802.16. Participate in the entire product design and development life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • » Responsible for the analysis, design, development, debugging, and technical documentation of an innovative spectrum access system
  • » Interact with internal and external engineering teams on a regular basis to design and create interfaces with other system elements
  • » Participate in both internal and external technical reviews

Experience Requirements

  • » 3+ years of related digital signal processing experience
  • » Firm understanding of DSP processing theory crucial
  • » Proficiency in C, Assembly and DSP algorithms
  • » Experience in developing communication protocols including 802.11 and 802.16

Education and Other Qualifications

  • » BSEE with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing is required; MSEE preferred
  • » US Citizenship a plus
